Ophthalmology emergency services

Tays Eye Centre provides treatment for patients with ophthalmological emergencies every day from 8 am to 7 pm. Patients presenting at the Ophthalmology Emergency Unit need a referral from their local health centre or from a private physician.

Patients with ophthalmological emergencies are treated at the Ophthalmology Outpatient Clinic from 8 am to 4 pm from Monday to Friday. After this, from 4 pm to 7 pm, emergency patients are received at the Ophthalmology Ward located on the 2nd floor. More information is available from the hotel reception desk, if needed.

During weekends and on holidays, patients with ophthalmological emergencies are treated at the Ophthalmology Ward from 8 am to 7 pm.

In the evening and at night (from 7 pm to 8 am) patients with ophthalmological emergencies are treated at the Emergency Department Acuta, and an ophthalmologist can be called in for a consultation if needed.
